The staff was lovely, my room was small but very clean. The shared toilettes and shower were immaculately cleaned. Breakfast was a nice assortment of croissants and breads, cereal and hot foods with cafe, tea or chocolate. I was able to store my luggage for the day I left. Very convenient to the metro station, 10 min ride to city center.

It is simple, old-fashioned but cozy and quiet place, even though trams are passing by (almost soundless!) and underground station is literally 50 m from the hotel. The restaurant is very good and the staff is very friendly. This place has 100 year history or even more. Especially I like old pictures on the walls. I think, it is the best place I have ever stayed in Austria.

The room was basic but very clean and comfortable with desk and ample storage space and excellent value for money. i shared a shower room and toilet and both were newly renovated and kept very clean so no horror stories at all! the staff were really friendly, even when i came back late at night. The hotel is directly opposite a U-bahn stop and tram line so getting to the city centre was no problem at all.

I could not have been happier with the hotel. Rooms are basic, but very clean and the price was a bargain, so it was excellent value for money. The hotel staff was very friendly, they even mailed me my make-up bag after I realised at the airport that I had left it at the hotel!

Hotel was clean and comfortable and had excellent location near metro station. Breakfast was good German type (rolls with different kinds of toppings). For a single traveler the price was bargain, and Penzing area quite safe.

I might have liked long mirror, but it's easy enough to live without.

Very good value for money. Great location direct line from center and the hotel is accross the street from the metro station. Very clean, staff very helpfull.

The street next to which the hotel is can be very noisy. Try to get some rooms at higher floors or facing in another direction.

the street was noisy, the breakfast poor, and I stayed in a room with shared bathroom- so not really nice. I dont think the price/ benefit was good.

perfect location - just in front of metro station, breakfast included, reasonable price - lowest price in this category, very nice and kind stuff.

it was the cheapest option that I found in Vienna. The room was just decent, a bit noisy due to the thinness of the walls (just pray not to have the same noisy Italian neighbors that I had to suffer during my stay). The locations was just great: two steps from the metro station. I was a bit disappointed w the breakfast offered, but as I mentioned: I was just looking for the cheapest option in Vienna (leaving aside the youth-hostels)
